Book clarification

The Prentice Hall books can be purchased through Amazon or other web sites. Most of the time the workbooks are priced better through Prentice Hall. Also, shipping is less since we order as a group. If you need a workbook ordered, I need the money by orientation.

Class changes

There were not enough students before the deadline signed up for Earth Science the first semester. This class has been cancelled. Please consider Anatomy or a virtual school option. Earth science will be offered second semester.

Hey Parents! Ready to drop a TON OF FUN right now into your child's summer? Then, Go the Distance Sports Camp is right for you!

Go the Distance Sports Camp, for ages 6 – 12, will be held June 15, 16 and 17 from 1 - 4:00 PM at the Cedar Lake Town Complex, 7408 Constitution Ave. in Cedar Lake. No entry fee is necessary, however, a parent/guardian signed registration form is required. Registration begins daily at 12:30 PM. Sports Camp is sponsored by Gateway Homeschool Network and Gateway Christian Fellowship of Cedar Lake.

For registration form: go to gatewayevents.blogspot.com

At Go the Distance Sports Camp, kids will enjoy a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, cup stacking and more. It doesn't matter if they've played all their lives or just started yesterday. Go the Distance Sports Camp helps kids improve their skills. Drills and activities will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. In addition, the sports camp creates a positive and encouraging environment that builds their confidence and self-esteem. Between sports sessions, coaches lead in songs, tell stories, and do cool object lessons that help character-building themes like teamwork, endurance, and sacrifice, take hold in kid's hearts. "We want to give kids the chance to learn more about sports, discover character-building concepts, and have a whole lot of fun!"
